Home sweet home is a sentence hundreds of millions worldwide cannot say. Housing has become somewhat of a luxury rather than a right.

3D Printed Houses

There are roughly 150 million homeless people in the world and 1.6 billion without adequate shelter. To help alleviate this problem, TRS has developed a 3D printer that can print the structure of a house in under 48 hours.

We have developed 3 designs for our printers. There is a gantry system that can print up to 3 floors, a polar system that has no limitation in the number of floors it can print, so long as the structural design requirements are met. And finally we are designing a cable printer, which will be able to print in large spaces without the heavy mechanical structures.

We have also designed a number of materials with differing density levels, starting from lower density as 1,600 up to 2,350. These materials naturally vary in both compressive and tensile strength, with the higher levels reaching up to 90 megapascals of compressive strength. We have further designed a mix design that does not require cement and are hoping to move towards greener materials.

Housing

Our housing support includes building new homes for families who have lost their homes or whose homes are in a state of disrepair. We work with local organizations and governments to ensure that our housing projects are targeted to those who need it most.

Our housing projects include the construction of individual houses, as well as the development of entire communities.

We also provide support for maintenance and repairs to ensure that the houses remain in good condition and continue to provide safe and secure homes for the families who live there.

The cost of supporting these housing projects starts at $7,000 per house.

We believe that everyone deserves to have a roof over their head, and we are working to make that a reality for as many people as possible.

Orphanages

TRS is an organization that is dedicated to supporting orphanages around the world for children who have lost their parents to war, poverty, or disease. We currently support several orphanages in different regions including Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Lebanon, Tanzania, Yemen, and India, providing care for over 800 children. Our organization’s goal is to provide the best possible care and services to the children in our care, creating a safe and nurturing environment for them to grow and develop into successful adults. We rely on the generosity of donors, volunteers, and other organizations to help cover the costs of our programs and initiatives, which begin at $60 per child per month. We also invite anyone who would like to visit these orphanages to learn more about our work and the impact we are making on the lives of children in need.

Our Motivation:

These children are in desperate need of love, care, and support. We know that the children need more than just food and shelter, they need education, healthcare, and a sense of community.

Our process:

We set to work building new, larger orphanages with better facilities. We source local materials and labour to keep costs low and ensure that the new facilities are sustainable. We also work with local authorities to ensure that the new orphanages meet all safety and health regulations.

Once the new orphanages are built, we continue to provide support on a recurring basis. We provide funding for staff salaries and other operating costs so that the children can continue to receive proper care and attention. We also provide resources for education and vocational training, so that the children can have a better chance at a successful future.

Our Audits:

We also set up regular check-ins with the orphanages to ensure that the children are receiving the support they need and to make any necessary adjustments to their programs. Overall, the organization’s efforts not only help build new orphanages and support them on a recurring basis, but also help create a sense of community and belonging for the children. We can provide the children with a safe and nurturing environment, where they can grow and develop into successful adults.

Our Support count:

Currently, TRS directly supports over 200 children annually through their programs and initiatives. These children receive education, healthcare, and other essential services that they would otherwise not have access to.

We also indirectly support an additional approximately 600 children annually. We do this by providing resources and support to the orphanages and other organizations that care for these children. By improving the overall quality of care provided, we are able to make a positive impact on the lives of even more children.

With the support of donors, volunteers, and other organizations, TRS will continue to make a real difference in the lives of children in need.

Location:

One of the largest orphanages TRS supports is in Kabul, Afghanistan, where we provide care for 100 boys and 50 girls.

Additionally, TRS provides care and support for 100 orphans in Rohingya, Bangladesh, 41 Nabatiyeh, Lebanon, 30 in Zanzibar, Tanzania, 100 in Sanaa, Yemen, and approximately 100 in different regions of India.

Costs:

TRS’s efforts to support these children come at a cost. The cost of supporting each orphan begins at $60 per child per month. This includes providing for their basic needs such as food, shelter, and medical care, as well as education and vocational training.

However, this cost is just a starting point and can vary based on the specific needs of each child and the location of the orphanage. For example, providing healthcare in a war-torn region may be more expensive than in a more stable area. Additionally, some children may require additional support such as therapy or specialized education, which can increase the cost of their care.

Despite the costs, TRS is committed to providing the best possible care and services to the children in their care. We rely on the generosity of donors, volunteers, and other organizations to help cover the costs of their programs and initiatives.

We are grateful for any support, no matter how small. Every donation helps to make a real difference in the lives of these children. We believe that every child deserves a chance at a better future, and we are committed to providing that chance through our programs and initiatives.

Transparency:

We would like to extend an open invitation to anyone who would like to come visit these orphanages and see the impact of their efforts firsthand. We believe that the best way to understand the needs of the children and the importance of their work is to experience it firsthand.

Visitors can come to the orphanages and see the children in their new homes, learn about the programs and services provided, and meet the staff and volunteers who work tirelessly to support the children. They can also participate in activities and interact with the children, providing them with additional positive role models and emotional support.

Visitors can also learn about the organization’s ongoing projects and initiatives and find out how they can get involved and support the work on a recurring basis. They can also find out how to sponsor a child and make a real difference in the life of a child in need.

We believe that by visiting the orphanages, visitors will gain a deeper understanding of the needs of the children, and the importance of supporting them on a recurring basis. We hope that our guests will be inspired to act and make a difference in the lives of children in need.

So, if you’re interested in making a difference in the lives of children in need, TRS welcomes you to visit the orphanages and see firsthand the impact of our efforts. We are confident that you will be moved by the children’s stories and inspired to help them in any way you can.
